This leading FMCG client is looking for a Tax Assistant to join their growing tax team.As part of the tax team, youwill have the opportunity to be involved in a range of tax work, including tax compliance, VAT, income tax and corporate tax issues. While your primary responsibility will be to liaise with the wider finance team to complete tax compliance work for the company, you will also take part in resolving UK tax and cross border tax issues with the more senior members of the team. The role has arisen because this company is looking to bring all of its tax work in-house.

Who we're looking for
You will be an experienced tax professional who has a solid accounting knowledge and understanding. You will have personality, and will enjoy working both in an autonomous environment and in a team. You may or may not be a qualified CTA and/or CA although this is not essential.
