The role is broad in nature and so excellent legal skills are required. As an Energy Lawyer you will be working on a variety of domestic and international projects so it is likely that the role will involve travel. Career prospects are excellent.

Who we're looking for
Successful candidates will have experience of some or all of the following:
(1) handling complex commercial contracts and associated issues (essential);
(2) one or more of the energy industries or infrastructure industries such as water, rail, roads or top-flight PPP/PFI projects or non-contentious construction experience;
(3) industry regulation in one or more of oil & gas, electricity, water or rail (desirable but not essential).

Experience relating specifically to IPP projects would be advantageous. The ability to manage your own workload, delegate effectively and show attention to detail is essential. Candidates will also need excellent team and client management skills as the role will involve business development.
