An opportunity has arisen with our client for a NQ Construction Lawyer to take on a varied caseload working between the closely knit London and Ipswich offices of this large firm.
Working closely with the London team, you will join their construction centre of excellence in Ipswich to deliver a mix of contentious and non-contentious work including construction procurement, contract negotiation and dispute resolution for a wide range of national and international clients.
The team have particular expertise in development, regeneration, projects and PPP, public sector and education work and have secured a number of key wins in terms of panel appointments and competitive wins for major construction work and are involved in major regeneration schemes in numerous parts of the UK including Cambridge, Bath and Central London and works for various high profile clients.
The team are determined to expand and build on their successes and there are lots of opportunities to get involved in business development, through nurturing of existing clients, raising of their profile in the construction market, networking and formal pitches. International is a key part of our business expansion strategy and it is envisaged that as the level of international work develops there will be a significant involvement for you to become involved in the delivery of international projects.
Who we're looking for
Candidates must be willing to travel frequently to London and South East England.
All applications will be considered on their merits. You will have an understanding of construction legalities appropriate to your level, coupled with a sound commercial background.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and may have a mix of contentious or non contentious experience.
You will be an enthusiastic and personable team player, client focussed and will also be a good communicator with a strong practical approach to your workload
