Acute & Specialist Commissioning Contracts Manager

As the Contracts Manager, you will:
- Act as Commissioning lead with a number of service providers in relation to the negotiation, production and establishment of Service Level Agreements, their review and evaluation, ensuring that the PCT's and Health Community's objectives are agreed and negotiated into these agreements;
- To take budgetary responsibility for Service Level Agreements as determined by the Director of Commissioning ensuring effective monitoring of the Payments by Results process in collaboration with finance colleagues;
- Ensure delivery of the PCT's objectives via performance management and quality monitoring ensuring that appropriate action is taken to remain within the agreed financial frameworks;
- Ensure implementation of national guidance, including a range of National Service Frameworks, across the Directorate's areas of responsibility;
- Lead service improvement, redesign and modernisation across the primary/ secondary care interface of specific service areas.

Who we're looking for
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Demonstrable experience of analysing highly complex data and information management to masters level or equivalent;
- Evidence of continuous professional development;
- Significant demonstrable Secondary Care experience;
- In depth knowledge of one or more aspects of Secondary Care Contracting arrangements;
- Change management experience.
