IP/IT Lawyer

This is an excellent opportunity for an IP/IT lawyer to undertake a variety of commercial work in a rapidly growing business services organization. Reporting into the senior legal counsel you will work closely with BSI's three core business areas; British Standards, Management Systems and Product Services, to protect BSI's worldwide IP as well as provide legal support as the BSI group expands into the e-commerce sector. The candidate will also support any contentious work that the department undertakes. Primarily based out of BSI's head office in Chiswick, the role may also require occasional international and domestic travel.

Who we're looking for
• You will be a qualified lawyer with IP/IT experience from either private practice or In House
• The candidate should also have e-commerce experience and be comfortable and willing to deal with any other general commercial work that arises
• You will need to be commercially astute and be able to communicate on a professional level with colleagues at all levels
