The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for own caseload and assist other team members in performing larger and more complex cases while developing insolvency and accountancy knowledge through on-the-job experience. This role is responsible to managers and partners within the department.

· Manage own caseload efficiently and effectively

· Set up cases and manage them in such a way to ensure that all statutory/regulatory and internal procedures are met.

· Assisting at meetings with debtor/company directors, including preparation of minutes

· Entering data onto computer, produce reports and completing IPS case set-up information

· Preparation of all glossary documents / routine reports within the time limits specified.

· Planning and monitoring budget and inputting changes onto FMS

· Liaising with relevant agents/solicitors to obtain appropriate advice.

· Undertaking basic investigations into debtor's / directors' / company's affairs

· Maintaining awareness of group budgetary requirements and time constraints

· Involvement in the marketing of the firm's services to potential clients and work providers

· Highlighting potential problems to senior staff quickly (with supporting information)

· Adhering to all regulatory and statutory requirements, including SIP and best practice

· Assisting other team members as and when required

· Performing other duties and responsibilities as delegated

Who we're looking for
Ideally you will have gained relevant experience from a practice environment and be either ACA or ACCA qualified.
Above all you will be proficient and able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in a Recovery and Insolvency role.
