Reporting directly to the Board the Sales Manager will need first class communication and leadership skills to direct the team of well established and successful Sales Executives to the next level. The Sales Manager will be expected to work with the team to build on their success and win new business relating to maintenance, hardware and software services offered by Maindec Computer Solutions.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. To direct, motivate and manage the Sales Department on a day-to-day basis to ensure business objectives and targets set by the company are met.
2 . To carry out performance management and offer support where necessary and to conduct regular monthly review meetings with sales staff.
3. To assist Sales Executives to win new business relating to maintenance, hardware and software services offered by Maindec Computer Solutions.
4. To utilise the process of quotations/tenders/proposals for potential/existing customers.
5. To prepare forecasts, budgets, targets and manage the commission system.
6. To participate and contribute to a marketing strategy and implementation.
7. Liaise with all Regional Managers and Service Operation Manager to continually improve upon all aspects of service delivery to our customer base.
8. Maintain contact with existing customers and to attend regular account reviews.
9. To provide cover and hands on assistance for other Sales Executives as and when required.
10. Maintain customer records - minutes of review meetings with customers and general correspondence utilising the CRM system as a source.
11. To prepare total and individual sales statistics and performance reports on a monthly basis for the Directors.
12. To review and advise upon training needs of sales personnel.
Who we're looking for
The Sales Manager will require the following
• 3-5 years within a sales management position
• Knowledge of IT service delivery and managed services
• Proven track record of team achievements in an IT service delivery environment
• Strong leadership
• Influence and persuasion skills
