Reporting into the Financial Director, you will be responsible for the ongoing functional development of the transactional finance systems, as well as supporting Finance end-users and delivering on projects. This is a pivotal role that will help build the infrastructure to support a dynamic and ever evolving organisation. You will review all existing financial processes, identify best practice and ways to improve efficiency as well as aide the implementation of new or revised operational systems and processes.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will ideally have extensive exposure to finance/customer interfaces with an initial focus on banking, collection and payment systems. Experience of Business Objects, Access and Sage would be advantageous. You will be able to converse with IT 'in their own language' and be able to recommend and implement operational systems, best practice and as well as play a leading role on the project teams. Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant ACA / ACCA /CIMA. Candidates who are qualified by experience will also be considered.
