As Assistant Project Manager (M+E) you will oversee a variety of Decent Homes projects in the East Midlands area.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for supervising a number of site operatives including foremen, plumbers/gas engineers, electricians, joiners, apprentices and engineers on Decent Homes projects with an annual value of £1.5m.
Projects includes refurbishment, repair, servicing and maintenance of thousands of domestic houses and nursing homes under contracts with local authorities and housing associations.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate should possess:
• A background in mechanical and electrical contracting within Social Housing.
• Knowledge of plumbing, heating and gas regulations.
• Relevant qualifications, including Electrical Installations 16th edition, CCN1.
• A desire to progress their career within a forward thinking organisation.
• Proven success on Decent Homes projects.
