I am currently working exclusively on an Interim Regional HR Manager for a large retailer that operates in a number of product markets. Due to a requirement within the HR team, an Interim Regional HR Manager is being recruited on a maternity cover basis to cover the Southern Region working a broad patch covering 3 business areas each of c20 stores.
Who we're looking for
Working closely with area managers you will support to 60 stores providing them with hands on generalist HR knowledge with a second line client base of store managers. As a regional HR team, colleagues are spread across the Uk and due to the nature of this role you will be able to work autonomously with 4 days a week out in stores. As a true generalist, you will have solid Uk employment law knowledge and be able to provide advice on ER issues including disciplinary and grievances, recruitment of senior store management, training and succession planning. You will have previously worked within a regional position and although knowledge of retail is not a prerequisite, a fast paced business sector is preferred. This is an Interim role with development opportunities and although this is initially being recruited on a 9-12 month basis, due to changes within the organisation a possible permanent opportunity may arise.
