• Assist Head of HR in formulation of Company/HR strategy
• Performance reviews of HR Advisors and Assistant
• Involvement and advising on senior management recruitment and selection
• Identify opportunities and influence more effective organisation design
• Coach/mentor managers in the use of policies, procedures, HR frameworks and employment legislation providing consistency and fairness
• Support the process of dispute resolution, attending disciplinary, capability and grievance hearings as appropriate.
• Involvement in substantive negotiation issues in order to promote consistency and fairness, equality and mutually favourable employment relations environment
• Involvement in special projects as determined by the business
• To perform all activities in compliance with the relevant Quality Systems standards.
• To deputise for the Head of HR in her absence
Who we're looking for
• Ability to perform in a vociferous unionised environment
• Understanding of complex client relationships
• Ideally experience of both public and private sector
• Capacity to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Interpretation of strategic policies with commercial focus
• A knowledge of TUPE regulations
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
