The Purchasing Manager will form part of a Strategic Procurement Team reporting into the Financial Director. The organisation is going through a period of structural change and require the Purchasing Manager to take a strategic view of the national spend covering heating, ventilation, utilities, building maintenance and repair and outdoor furniture with the objective ofsetting up framework agreements.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified (or working towards) and have a proven track record within anconstruction or facilities managementenvironment.You will have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be negotiating national contracts with numerous suppliers. You will be capable of analysing procurement operations and implementing strategic policy to reduce cost and improve performance.
