Audit Manager Corporate Banking

As a member of the Group Audit team you will contribute to the successful implementation of
group strategy by providing knowledge and oversight for audit assignment with a focus in
Corporate Banking.
You will be expected to manage and undertake audit assignments with a specific Corporate
Banking risk focus, liaising with business management, testing controls, gaining acceptance
for assignment reports and tracking agreed remedial actions through to completion. There
will also be an element of managing relationships with key customers in the business.
• Practical knowledge of two or more of the following areas is required:
o counterparty relationship management;
o corporate strategy, decision making and management information;
o operational activities including marketing, transaction booking and fee collection;
o core wholesale products such as bilateral and syndicated loans, derivatives, leasing
and liquidity support facilities;
o credit analysis and sanctioning;
o facility documentation and security perfection;
o covenant compliance and transaction monitoring; or
o impairment and recovery activities.
Previous dealings with bespoke transactions, securitisation, structured credits or credit
trading would be advantageous.
