The main areas of accountability for the Learning and Development Manager are:
• Consistent deployment of the group L&D strategy
• to use a consultancy approach in response to operational requests, to ensure that sound proposals and implementation plans are written when requested.
• to effectively manage the training plan in line with operational requirements working closely with the planning functions.
• to lead and develop a high performing L&D team, ensuing succession plans are up to date
• to provide weekly & monthly reports to show L&D provides commercial value.
• to drive 'customer first' culture through development initiatives and continuous improvement
• to consistently evaluate and review training interventions ensuing added value and continuous improvement
• to develop, coach and motivate managers to maximise and improve performance
• to deliver management development initiatives to junior management levels
Who we're looking for
The right candidate will have a solid background within L&D within a fast paced environment, with a proven track record managing a team and delivering training solutions. Some exposure or work within contact centres would be desirable although not essential.
