Our client is looking for an AML Analyst to efficiently monitor and manage all payment messages passing through their monitoring system. As part of the Core Monitoring Team you will need to investigate alerts generated from the account monitoring system and refer items for further investigation to the appropriate EMEA office. You will aconduct a number of administrational duties to assist with the management of the monitoring Team Room, assist with the production of the monthly monitoring reports. Investigate alerts generated by the account monitoring systems and refer items for investigation to the Focussed Monitoring Team. You will also conduct PEP and Sanctions checks for new and existing clients when required.

Who we're looking for
The AML Analyst will have the following qualifications and background:
A levels and a Degree
Background in a compliance environment
Knowledge of sanctions legislation in particular UK, USA and Japanese legislation.
Ability to work to tight timescales in a demanding environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
Able to work shifts and bank holidays
