Our client is seeking a technically proficient and commercially minded lawyer to support large, complex, high-value deals with other lawyers and professional colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and updating standard paperwork for each business unit ensuring a stable and workable contractual relationship with suppliers and customers
- Non-disclosure/confidentiality agreements
- Legal research on data protection, legal privilege, freedom of information, PPP & PFI guidelines, etc.
- Conducting presentations to the business on new and existing areas of law and regulatory policy
- Review, amend and grant copy clearance for a number of documents intended for public consumption
- Draft and negotiate contractual supply arrangements such as sponsorship agreements and public relations agency agreements
- Work with the procurement team to secure the most favourable terms and conditions for the company to guarantee timely and accurate supply of goods and services from third party suppliers
- Create a variety of new agreements including framework arrangements, software licenses, purchase order terms and product sheets so as to ensure that the business remains contractually protected
- Review current contracts and provide legal advice as to their application
Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified solicitor with strong commercial and business awareness. Newly qualified solicitors will be considered as will non-UK qualified solicitors or barristers who are happy to complete the QLTT. You will have a flexible and adaptable 'can do' attitude with the ability to provide clear, concise and relevant legal advice to non-lawyers. You will be a good team player.
