The YHA are looking for a Group Performance Manager to cover the North Wales area. You will be responsible for managing the performance of hostel managers and staff within a designated group of approximately 10-14 Hostels within the area. Part of the remit will be to mentor, support and coach the Hostel managers by conducting one to ones and providing direction to your managers. In addition you will support the Regional General Manager to ensure that hostel turnover is maintained and exceeded, whilst working within agreed budgets.
We also require 2 further Group Performance Managers, one to cover North London, Cambridgeand East Anglia, and one to cover Oxfordshire, Dorset & Hampshire.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a hospitality / leisure retail manager who has experience of working in a large single site environment looking for that first step into multisite or an experienced Area Manager looking for a change. You will need to demonstrate real drive, enthusiasm and the ability to influence at all levels. In order to be successful in this role you will need to illustrate a thorough understanding of the following areas - customer focus, teamwork, planning and organising, decision making, empowerment and people development, innovation, quality and continuous improvement and excellent interpersonal skills. Energy and the desire to be part of a progressively growing and changing business is absolutely essential.
