Through it's inception, this Offshore law firm has played a leading role in the development of the offshore insurance sector. Having grown across several jurisdictions around the world most recently, they are now looking to recruit a legal professional with an exceptional background in the sector.
Working as a Reinsurance Litigator, you will be heading up part of the Insurance team, one of the firm's key practice areas. You will be responsible for marketing and business development in the local and international market. The practice itself advises on a variety of traditional and non-traditional products such as alternative risk transfer, catastrophe bonds and weather derivatives. You will be working on high-profile litigation cases, and will be expected to manage your caseload with a strong focus on advocacy.

Who we're looking for
• Successful candidates must hold a Common Law legal qualification; in exceptional cases, US-qualified lawyers with strong advocacy experience will also be considered.
• You should have gained strong technical knowledge of the international insurance and reinsurance market.
• Due to the fused legal system in Bermuda, you should have a demonstrable track-record of court advocacy, as well as strong marketing, team management and communication skills.
