You will be a part of the IBX UK procurement consultancy team, based in Oxford delivering purchasing services to leading organizations, mostly multi-national blue-chip corporations, many of them listed under Forbes 500. The team provides purchasing expertise in advisory roles to procurement directors / CPOs and is also responsible for implementing the our client's purchasing solutions.
Your responsibilities asthe Manager / Senior Manager to UK will include delivery of strategic assignments, the implementation of sourcing and procurement tools and methods and also driving sales opportunities together with our sales organization. Being based in Oxford, successful candidates will only be required to be in the office 2-3 days per week. The rest of the time will be spent on client site running projects.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate for Manager / Senior Manager to UK will have:
• Academic degree
• Understanding of leading practices in sourcing and/or procurement
• Previous experience in procurement consultancy or ability to demonstrate equivalent industry experience
• Experience from working in transformation, change or strategy projects
• Sales experience with complex solution and/or service offerings
• Ability in giving directions or team leading and in sharing knowledge
• Experience with eSourcing and/or eProcurement tools is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Additional language skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas, and ability to be in Oxford 2-3 days per week
