The purpose of the role is to promote and generate sales for all activities of the Racecourse from race meetings, hospitality, conferences, meetings and many more. You will increase awareness of Kempton Park Racecourse facilities amongst potential customers through developing new avenues of attracting business this could be through existing client base as well as targeting new business clients in various business sectors.
You will be liaising closely with the Sales Directoras to all sales activity, its successes and its short falls, making recommendations and improvement areas for the future focus, in order to continually improve product occupancies and revenues. You will be required to devise and implement a sales activity plan that proactively develops the business in line with the desired target markets and the revenue budgets as agreed with the Sales Director. You will be flexible in working evenings and weekends as this will be the prime time to increase your client reach through networking.
Who we're looking for
You will have worked within the Hospitality or Leisure Travel market before. You will have experience in face to face selling role with the ability of managing and developing accounts. Having a new business focus would be ideal as fundamentally you will be required to use those skills increasing business and awareness of services . You will be an organised individual who will be disciplined in your approach.
