Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will demonstrate a strong 'hands on approach' to your work. Your role will be predominantly focussed around preventative maintenance and lean manufacturing. You will liaise at all levels, driving the planned maintenance schedule through the production facility.
Who we're looking for
You will be HNC/HND qualified and will have worked in a structured manufacturing environment, focussed on planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement. You will be a natural problem solver with excellent people management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to further their career.
About our client
Our client is a world leader in paper based packaging and is the European leader in containerboard, solid board, corrugated and solid board packaging. The organisation strives to be a customer oriented, market led company which satisfies the personal development of its' own employees.
At the Stalybridge site they manufactures corrugated packaging and have approximately 180 people working there. Due to increased demand they are looking to enhance their engineering department and to recruit a high calibre senior maintenance engineer.
