With overall responsibility for the performance against financial, customer & business targets / KPI's, this Senior Product Manager role will have the following:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Management of product P&L's to achieve agreed financial objectives
• Management of a broader set of product and customer KPI's to achieve overall product objectives
• Regular forecasting and review of performance with identification and delivery of initiatives to achieve targets
• Ensuring that products are fully compliant and agree with TCF principles
• Identify future growth opportunities - suggesting enhancements to the products, service and / or offer which improve the customer proposition
• Ownership of product specifications and Terms & Conditions, suggesting and gaining agreement for, changes which support key objectives
• Undertake product / market reviews, to understand competitive position.
• In-depth understanding of product and customer profitability and the factors which influence it
• In-depth understanding of competitor products, pricing and offer, communicating key findings to appropriate people within the business and initiating appropriate action (strategic & tactical)
• Work closely with Finance to define parameters and key assumptions for detailed financial modelling and business case development
• Work closely with Operations and IS to implement key initiatives
• Initiation and management of test initiatives, defining KPI's and success factors; ensuring that results are measured & communicated appropriately
• Responsibility for timely and accurate internal communications of product changes and new customers propositions
• Identification of customer research & insight requirements - working with market research manager and providers to ensure objectives are met
Who we're looking for
For this Senior Product Manager role you will have a proven background in a similar role which will include product and proposition development.
You will be confident with numbers and posses an inquisitive and analytical mindset with an excellent ability to interpret data and communicate findings.
