• Assessing the Client's current level of performance in the UK FMCG environment;
• Defining and delivering efficiencies or a performance improvement programme on the particular area of
the project under your responsibility;
• Obtaining the Client's agreement on the alternative scenarios you submitted and implementing or
facilitating the delivery the accepted solution
Specific deliverables for this initial project include:
• Diagnostic study of an FMCG service company
• Developing a comprehensive lean improvement programme to cover all aspects of the facility's operation
• Implementation of lean improvement tools and methodologies, such as JIT, Scheduling tools, KPIs and
resulting Kaizen initiatives, SMED, PDCA loops etc.
• Facilitating knowledge transfer and coaching both shop floor and management staff in all the technical
and change management aspects of the project.
Although your role will be very operational, you will have to constantly manage the relationship with your
various stakeholders in the Client's organisation. You will have to identify and manage their expectations in
order to secure their buy in to any proposed changes. Your interpersonal skills are key to your success.

Management experience Project delivery People management Education and qualifications Degree or equivalent Manufacturing degree/postgraduate
