This firm has established a strong client base in their company commercial department. They have an established solicitor currently heading up the department who has an excellent reputation locally and has a wide range of contacts and clients which service the whole department.
This solicitor is looking to step aside in the years to come and the firm now seek a 'partner elect' who can take over and further develop this thriving department. The firm boasts large plc and traditional SME clients in the Manchester area who require a range of corporate and commercial services described as some 'really tasty work'.
Who we're looking for
• You will have demonstrable experience of commercial and corporate work.
• You will be an authoritative solicitor who has the ability to drive a department forward.
• You will have an acute legal mind and enjoy the intellectual challenges that company commercial work affords you.
• You may have links to the Manchester area or be willing to relocate.
• You may be a company solicitor from the city who has grown sick of the city commute and seeks a more relaxed but equally challenging environment in which to push on in your career.
• You will be able to commit to the area and the firm over the longer term and be excited by the challenges that this opportunity affords.
• You will have experience of supervising junior members of staff.
About our client
This firm historically has high street roots and has now established itself as a major player in company commercial work outside of the city. They have recently relocated the commercial arm of their business to purpose built premises just off the M60 motorway and are therefore highly accessible.
This firm prides itself on a high value customer service offering and generally seeks like minded individuals with a dynamic and forthright outlook and who enjoy the 'work hard; play hard' ethic and the monthly booze ups!
What's on offer
My client is willing to consider a range of levels, as long as you have demonstrable experience and are able to show ability in the company commercial arena. As such they have not suggested a specific salary bracket at this stage. They are very much looking for the right candidate and will decide on package upon making a decision to hire.
