Assistant Finance Manger

Temp ⁄ £20 per hour

To provide detailed financial information to the Severn Deanery to support budget management.
To meet regularly with budget managers at the Severn Deanery to support all aspects of financial management, including outturn forecast.
To act as deputy to the Senior Finance Manager as required.
Work with NHS organisations to monitor and develop their performance in delivering workforce education and training, in particular the financial aspects.
Contribute to the development, implementation and achievement of strategic plans and business objectives of the Organisation.

Who we're looking for
• Part-qualified Accountant (or by experience)
• Experience in the NHS or equivalent public sector organisation
• Able to develop and apply creative solutions to organisational problems
• Good written communication skills, evidenced by ability to prepare reports for a variety of audiences
• IT literate, able to use Microsoft Office
• Effective negotiation and influencing skills
