One of two key roles, leading and managing Resourcing Consultant teams. In partnership with the HR Business Partner teams, face out to the business to gain an understanding of recruitment requirements and effectively deploy Resourcing Consultant teams to ensure business needs are met within agreed service standards and timelines. Provide thought leadership within span of control on management of employer brand and sourcing approaches.
• Performance management of the Resourcing Consultant team, as well as Recruitment Co-coordinators and Resourcing Operations Team Leader for High Volume.
• Lead and manage the delivery of the Resourcing consultancy process.
• Ensure the advice given to managers during campaign briefings is of a high quality and that the outcomes meet the business need.
• Ensure campaigns are tracked and managed effectively, ensuring costs and other evaluative measures are built in process controls
• Build a knowledge of the High Volume or Specialist role and sector requirements, bringing expertise on sourcing methods and methodology to ensure the right candidates are sourced and selected
• Continually monitor and quality assure the Resourcing Consultancy provision in line with benchmarkable best practice and Resourcing strategy.
• Drive Resourcing Consultant team performance in a way that enables the team to achieve its objectives and facilitates the development of the team.
• Ensure the Resourcing Consultant team are demonstrating that they are abreast of legislative or policy changes and are ensuring that all processes are managed within these constraints.
• Oversee safe delivery of recruitment methodology and tools within recruitment span of control.
• Provide thought leadership in the Resourcing space to ensure sourcing strategies mirror best practice approaches.
Who we're looking for
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Ability to apply commercial and strategic awareness to problem solving.
• Demonstrable experience of managing in a consultancy environment as well as demonstrated expertise in recruitment assessment delivery.
• An in-depth understanding of the end to end recruitment process.
• An in-depth understanding of the role Resourcing plays and its interactions with other functions across the employee life cycle.
• Demonstrated experience in management and deployment of Resourcing teams to effectively manage campaigns within costs and timescales.
• An understanding of the application of candidate management and other HR systems.
• An understanding of Employment legislation relating to recruitment and the application of related internal policies.
• A thorough understanding of approaches to sourcing and the employment market.
• A thorough appreciation of employer brand and advertising.
• Ability to influence at a senior level, including successfully facilitating joint decision-making on recommended sourcing, approaches and methodology.
• Demonstrated experience of successfully managing change and dealing with ambiguity.
• Able to articulate and evaluate the value created by processes delivered within their organisation and contribution to a clear and visible service proposition.
• Has a clear understanding of the financial impact
