Job Role
Reporting to the VP of Finance and Treasury, you will be in charge of:
- Developing optimum tax structuring strategies for the group with external advisors and in coordination with senior finance management
- Supervising and overseeing the implementation of such structuring with outside advisors and internal financial teams around the world
- Implement and manage processes to ensure that all companies of the group comply with relevant tax legislation
- Working proactively with external tax advisors to provide advice and tax strategies to operating companies within the Group. You will also have to respond to auditors and follow up recommendations and seek tax saving opportunities
Your major responsibilities will be:
- Tax, legal and financial compliance for the European fincoys
- By review of correspondance from auditors and tax advisors, as well as updates on tax changes in individual countries, ensure that individual operating companies achieve a high level of local tax planning and compliance
- Review overall group structures to ensure that intercompany cash flows are managed in a tax effective manner
- Provide taxation support on special projects as identified from time to time by senior group finance management
Who we're looking for
- Experience in a similar position or experience
- Chartered accounting diploma
- Exposure to European taxation issues and consolidation
- Tax audit, planning and transfer pricing
- English is a must, any other languages is a plus
- Strong communication skills mandatory
