My client is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join an existing team, you will be responsible for managing the finance function from payroll through to reporting.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Full responsibility for the month end process and close.
• Annual budgeting and forecasting activities:
• Variance analysis - actual vs budget and commentary
• Overseeing quarterly commission calculations.
• Balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts
• Controlling annual audit process
• Reporting of Intrastat, VAT and EC Sales list.
• Liaise with auditors for the preparation, filing and payment of corporate taxes in UK, France, Italy and Spain.
• Ad hoc project work as it arises
Who we're looking for
• Working towards a recognised UK Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA), or Qualified by extensive experience, working in a financial/management accounting role.
• Intercompany reporting experience.
• You will need to have had solid experience managing a team in a finance function.
• Proven ability to communicate with, influence and facilitate business decisions with internal and external parties.
• Knowledge and experience of handling payroll year end activities eg P11D, P35, negotiation of dispensations, etc.
• Proven ability to build relationships across a wide range of disciplines and levels of management, both internally and externally.
• Experience of working with Oracle Financials.
