• To support the HR Manager in the delivery of our clients training and development agenda
• To contribute to the development of people to meet business needs
• To liaise with relevant external bodies regarding training activities. To include professional bodies and institutions, schools and further/higher education establishments, trade unions etc
• Delivery and application of the strategic training plan within defined areas of responsibility to include:-
- HR policies and procedures
- Deployment and management of physical resources to deliver the strategic plan, i.e..e. trainers, assessors, coordinators and administrators, as appropriate
- Deployment and management of material resources to deliver the strategic plan
The Training Advisor role has a regional responsibility based out of one of their main offices based in Wolverhampton.
Who we're looking for
The right Training Advisor will:
• Have operational management experience from an HR/Training background
• Be CIPD qualified or be working toward this
• Possess appropriate Supervisory and/or Management qualifications to enable effective operational management in a multi-site, field-based team
• Strong knowledge of training needs analysis techniques and be comfortable driving a training agenda to deliver results
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Effective facilitation skills
