Amey are seeking a highly commercial focused Bid Director to lead a major tender into the Public Sector environment.
The Bid Director is required to set out the Bid strategy for Built Environment to ensure processes are in place in order that they exceed the clients expectations and support the business growth strategy.

• You will lead the development of the bid strategy, prepare tenders with your team and lead the final negotiation stages of major bids.
• Leading, developing and contributing to the identified emerging opportunities, including visits, the submission of EOIs, Prequalification and ISOP documents
• Overall accountability for planning and managing the bid process,including the bid systems, risk management and budget monitoring .
• Developing relationships with the Internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the overall Bid process and approach delivered is aligned to our clients needs.
• Market intelligence knowledge is key within our markets and ensuring that our proposals in are competitive.
•Liaise with other Bid Managers and Bid Team members across Amey to continually develop and improve the tender proposal and systems for bid development and production.

Who we're looking for
• Good strategic vision and the ability to decipher the Clients commercial needs quickly.
• Have strong commercial acumen and organisational skills that enable the bid process to be a well coordinated and a timely process.
• Understand the Competitive dialogue process
• Experience with PFI projects desirable
• Have sound project management skills .
• Exceptional interpersonal, client management and presentation skills to board level.
•Proven track record of bidding across the public and private sectors in the UK
