The In-house commercial Lawyer will work very closely with the Company Secretary and senior management of this Media organisation engaging in a mix of general commercial work, drafting and negotiation of supply contracts, potential mergers and acquisitions projects and other general corporate and governance work as well as interfacing with . This offers a unique opportunity to be the first in-house lawyer for a top listed organisation that is both forward thinking and well positioned to take advantage of the changing market. The organisation sees the vital importance of the legal function and it's role in the business as a whole with the potential to become a senior business partner during what will be an exciting period of growth. The role is based in the Swindon area and offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious company commercial lawyer.

Who we're looking for
The In-house commercial lawyer role will require:
• A good background in a strong private practice
• Excellent commercial legal skills
• A good understanding of competition law
• A good understanding of company law
• Commercial attitude that would play well with senior management
• A desire to work in-house
