This is a standalone Human Resources Manager position in a niche, unionised manufacturing business with great levels of responsibility. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have full responsibility for all HR issues, covering the full generalist piece. Fresh ideas are needed for a review of current policies and procedures and to drive the HR agenda moving forwards.
Who we're looking for
The successful applicant will:
• Be able to provide clear examples of successful HR provision across the full generalist piece;
• Have experience of HR provision within a unionised, blue-collar environment;
• Be confident enough in their own HR experience to provide a credible and effective HR function in a standalone position;
• Probably be a graduate and CIPD-qualified or at least working towards it.
