Business Development Manager

Logistics/Haulage

M62 Corridor

Permanent ⁄ £30000 - £35000

You will be responsible selling a 3rd Party Logistics solution into the the retail and industrial market place. Covering a territory of the M62 Corridor you will proactively develop both an existing portfolio of accounts and develop new, target key accounts.
Key responsibilities include:
• Driving revenue growth throughout the North
• Building a network of contacts that enrich the potential reach and success of the company throughout the North
• Managing and developing your sales function to deliver ahead of plan

Who we're looking for
You will be a self starter with an aptitude for closing and a desire to succeed.You will have a proven track record of business service sales and ideally will have a good understanding of the logistics, haulage and distribution market place.
• You will have a documented track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets with exposure to both existing and new account development
• Good knowledge of distribution based selling
• A first class ability to drive conversion
• Ability to take a hands on, ambitious, authoritative/consultative approach to new business development

What's on offer
£30,000 to £35,000 plus OTE £50,000 with car and benefits
