A Housing Association is looking for a Policy & Public Affairs Officer based in their London office. You will:
- Lead on stakeholder management programmes to enhance the reputation of the Group;
- Develop organisation positions for use in media and in campaigning and influencing activity with stakeholders;
- Identify areas for market intelligence research on partners and stakeholders;
- Research and analyse national policy developments
- Have an influencing role with staff regarding strategic policy issues;
- Co-ordinate responses to consultations from government, trade and regulatory bodies;
- Analyse relationships to support development of effective communication strategies and engage with a range of local stakeholders.
Who we're looking for
As the right candidate, you will have:
- Knowledge of the housing sector or other relevant social policy area impacting on communities
- Experience of acting as a spokesperson for an organisation;
- Experience of effecting change and influencing internal and external contacts;
- Proven success in delivering effective communications campaigns;
- Proven ability to present information clearly, accurately and systematically.
