The purchasing manager will take on a raw materials spend for the business for all products sourced both locally and in low cost regions. The ingredients portfolio will cover proteins (chicken, pork, lamb, beef), vegetables, spices, and dairy. There will also be a requirement for packaging, both shelveready and transport. The purchasing manager will integrate into the business closely linked with production, planning and sales functions.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an ingredients buyer within an ambient or chilled food environments. The person will be CIPS qualified (or working towards) keen to progress in dynamic, expanding business.
