This opportunity is available on a temporary basis with an immediate start and isn't foreseen stretching past December 2008. Joining a small team reporting directly to the European Tax Manager the successful candidate will handle the tax accounting and UK compliance. More specifically:quarterly/annual tax accounting and reporting, CT income returns, tax audits, preparation of tax workings, transfer pricing as well as liaising with external advisors and auditors.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have/be:
• Good university degree.
• Professional accounting/tax qualification
• Open to branching out into new areas of tax.
• Able to work as part of a small team, but to liaise with other groups to achieve objectives.
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
• Shows attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
