Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be fully accountable for the finance function of this rapidly growing business, providing financial analysis and information to support decision making and ensure robust controls are in place.
As the first level of support for the Group Finance Director, this is a pivotal role in the company with a highly acquisitive focus for the future.
Principle accountabilities will include:
• Delivering financial control and commercial insight into the company's performance and understanding the implications of its commercial and strategic decisions
• Preparation of statutory accounts, forecasts, budgets and related analysis
• Ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and reporting.
• Working closely with the company's auditors
• Developing an in-depth knowledge of the company and the specific sector in which it operates.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have a recognised professional qualification and the ability to demonstrate excellent financial knowledge, together with natural commercial acumen.
We are looking for an individual with the right blend of experience and enthusiasm; a resolute character with strong man management skills and experience of working in a highly competitive contracting environment.
