Procurement Manager - Supply Chain, FM

Working in South London and reporting into a Commercial Director, you will be responsible for leading the total supply chain solution for either a large project, a significant business area or major spend categories and supply chain strategy accordingly. You will focus on effective communication and relationship building with internal & external customers and suppliers, ensuring that all business needs are met and expectations exceeded. A key KPI will be around driving costs and value enhancement on a large scale.The Procurement Manager will also be required to provide assistance to business Directors and senior project delivery teams. The Procurement Manager will develop and negotiates framework contracts for commodities and services and be responsible for leading continuous improvement for managed categories.

Who we're looking for
The Procurement Manager will have a combination of the below - Education levels:
• CIPS qualified
• Degree qualified
Specific technical knowledge/skills:
• Leadership techniques and staff development methods
• Relevant product and subcontract market knowledge desirable
• Tender and contract procurement practice, processes
• Knowledge of relevant forms of contract and strong commercial awareness
• Supply chain principles, procedures and methods. Category Management tools and techniques
Description of required values/competencies:
• To be able to operate as part of an operational delivery team. Effective in leading large teams
• Strong negotiation skills, strong contractual and commercial competence
• Demonstrates sound skills in project management and planning
• Analytical skills, measured approach to decision making, highly competent in supplier selection and evaluation
• A team player, strong communicator, highly customer focused
• He/she is a confident negotiator who is able to use a range of variables in contractual negotiations
• A Supply Chain Manager is committed to Supply Chain and marketing of the function internally and externally.
