As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for planning, co-coordinating and implementing new projects within the Company, in a timely way and within budget
You will also assist the Manufacturing Engineering Manager in identifying, and seeing through to fruition, engineering improvements and mentoring more junior staff in order to develop their engineering experience.
Key Tasks are:
-To provide accurate costing for all projects, and ensure that they are brought in on budget.
-To ensure that top quality projects are planned accurately and delivered on time, taking steps to rectify any potential shortfalls.
-On a project-by-project basis, to liaise closely with relevant departments to ensure that resources are available / timelines are achievable and that any risks or issues are mitigated.
-To ensure that quality standards are adhered to.
-To successfully manage and motivate project teams in the delivery of projects.
Who we're looking for
-Engineering degree (any discipline), high level diploma or work experience to an equivalent level.
-Proven experience of running successful projects, including provision of costing.
-PC literacy (word and excel) are essential, including knowledge of Microsoft Project.
-The ability to communicate successfully at all levels internally and externally.
