There is a need for a new member within the Job Evaluation team, which currently consists of four other individuals. Following the dismissal and re-employment of the majority of employees, on new terms and conditions, there is a need to engage with the appeals process for a wide range of individuals. Your roles will include the following aspects;
• To produce accurate and balanced written records and reports of decisions and actions relating to human resources issues, as appropriate.
• To work closely and in partnership with other human resources colleagues, managers and staff representatives in developing and reviewing human resources-related policies and procedures
• To directly provide operational advice, facilitation, resolution and support for managers and employeeson a variety of human resources issues including interpretation of terms and conditions of service, employment and contract law and human resources policies and procedures.
This regularly includes dealing face-to-face with difficult and contentious issues in a sensitive manner.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have previously been employed within a similar role, and understand the complexities of job evaluation. Although employment in the Public Sector is preferred, it is by no means essential. Candidates from all backgrounds will be considered.
