My client is a large public sector organisation based in Newcastle. They are looking for an interim Payroll Testing Manager for a period of up to 6 months.
This role will involve:
• Production of a testing framework to detail testing phases - product acceptance testing; regression testing against existing organisation's functionality.
• Production of detailed test plans
• Ensuring integration with other Oracle modules where links to Payroll exist for fully integrated testing
• Taking the lead role on execution of testing and skills transfer to existing team members where appropriate
• Line management of Testing Team
You will be expected to achieve the following:
• Development and timely production of testing framework outlining the approach for testing the new payroll solution and integration of the new HR / Payroll provision for other government departments to the existing solution.
• Production of test conditions to ensure cohabitation with the existing HR / Payroll service and processes.
Who we're looking for
You will have experience of:
• Business / User Acceptance Testing of Oracle HR / Payroll solution in a large national organisation, preferably within the Public Sector.
• Working in a multi-supplier business organisation
• Appreciation of Central Government employee Terms & Conditions and their complexities.
• End user day to day processing knowledge of Oracle HR / Payroll solution with emphasis particularly Pensions, Sick / Maternity Pay, Oracle Time and Labour (OTL) etc.
• Team Leadership
