Technical Oracle HMRS HR / Payroll Practitioner

This large public sector organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to recruit an interim Technical Oracle Payroll Practitioner.

This role will involve:

• Investigation of live running issues and resolution
• Liaison with the IT provider to specify / document resolutions, test and implementation support issue resolution
• Support the team for future development work to reduce the number of customisations held
• Ensuring integration with other Oracle modules where links to Payroll exist
• Skills transfer to existing team members where appropriate

You will be required to achieve a significant reduction in the level of live issues outstanding and a successful reduction in the number of customisations of the HR / Payroll module.

Who we're looking for
You will have:
• Experience of post implementation support of Oracle HR / Payroll solution in a large national organisation, preferably in the Public Sector.
• Appreciation of Central Government employee Terms & Conditions and their complexities
• End user knowledge of Oracle HR / Payroll system in particular Pensions, Sick/Maternity Pay, Oracle Time and Labour (OTL) etc
