Global Mobility Adviser

Accountancy Practise

The successful candidate within this leading Accountancy Practise in the City of London will be accountable for;
• Management and Co-ordination of all international mobility
• Provide advice and ensure compliance in all areas arising from the international mobility of our people
• Manage the process of work permit, social security numbers and visa applications, while keeping up to date with current immigration affairs
• Provide practical housing support, dependant education support and advice about types of banking account
• Liaise with current third party providers (relocation agents etc) to ensure that assignment policy is adhered to
• To think ahead and propose ways of improving policies and processes in order to best support our expatriates
• Conduct policy meetings with assignees and their families, to ensure "best exposure" and provide a social introductions and networking facility
• Responsibility for communications with our outsourced HR administration support as well as local country mobility departments to ensure continuity for an individuals Performance Management Development Process and training needs

• Various ad hoc strategic projects, in particular, to work closely with the HR Manager and Mobility Tax Manager

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be;
• Educated to degree level
• Had exposure to dealing with general advisory tasks, within an International Assignments, global mobility or expatriate environment.
• The ideal candidate will be well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Proven exposure to working within a multicultural environment
• Proven ability to deal with sensitive situations within a hr environment
• A good understanding of tax, social security, immigration and logistical issues that affect assignees is required
