To lead and develop a positive commercial relationship between our client and their concessions.
Principal Accountabilities
• Ensuring the development and delivery of group-wide category strategies that maximise retail income, and deliver world-class customer service.
• Maximise category income and margin through negotiation and tender.
• Responsible for all negotiations and tenders within postholder's Category group.
• To develop and implement Customer Relationship Management strategy to establish and manage constructive, working relationships with key business partners. To meet regularly to understand their strategies and develop profitable relationships, through alignment with our own
• Be responsible and accountable for achieving Category and concessionaire income targets
• To lead, coach, motivate and build expertise of direct reports in order to meet their personal and business objectives.
• To be responsible for innovative solutions and providing the team with direction in response to changes and challenges within the airport retail environment.
• To establish and manage constructive working relationships with internal stakeholders and colleague across airports and Commercial Division.

Who we're looking for
• Experience within an Airport, High St retail or Department Store environment (experience with Duty Free environment preferred).
• Proven track record of delivery against challenging targets
• Relationship Management experience at a senior level.
• Extensive experience of commercial contract negotiation
• Leadership and management experience& Ability to deliver against challenging and demanding targets, as well as being able to identify new tactical opportunities to grow revenue.
• Educated to A Level/Degree Standard
• Extensive product management/contract management experience
• Experience of managing a team within the Retail Function
• A skilled and experienced negotiator with excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and communicate at Director level internally and externally
• Practical and pragmatic: capable of working in a fast moving and rapidly changing environment involving working on multiple projects
