Web Analyst

Reporting to the Head of E-Commerce, the Web Analyst will be responsible for reporting and analyzing web site data as it relates to product, content, advertising, marketing and business forecasting and planning.

• Lead support role for web analytic tools. User base includes interaction with Web Content Team, Web Marketing Team, Technology, Web Design, Research and Executive Management. Training provided where necessary.
• Lead contact with agencies and analytics support.
• Participate in site enhancements and development as a measurements expert, identifying reporting requirements, monitoring the implementation process, tagging and evaluating post and pre-launch reporting.
• Daily & weekly reporting based on business KPI's and requirements.
• Identify customer drop off points and suggest courses of action to minimise loss.
• Analyse splash page performance and campaigns across multiple marketing channels.
• Locate areas of high conversion or parks/prices of particular popularity.
• Adhoc reporting to locate issues or summarise performance.
• Work with the search manager to identify any SEM requirements within our reporting tool.

Who we're looking for
This role will form an integral part of the Haven E-Commerce team and will also provide a fantastic career opportunity within Bourne Leisure.

• Experience of consumer data analytics and analytical reporting in an Internet environment.
• Any experience analysing raw data and extracting useful information would be extremely beneficial. (Data refers web traffic data and NOT product/catalogue information).
• Experience of using Web Analytic Tools, such as Web Trends and Google Analytics.
• Any experience identifying Booking patterns and customer journeys on eCommerce sites would be useful.
• Comfortable in creating customisable reports.
• Understanding of PPC and SEO.
• Business acumen and basic understanding of technical, design and marketing skills as it relates to web analytics.
• Independent thinker. Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Data mining in a Data Warehouse Environment would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of CRM systems such as SAS would be extremely desirable.
