An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage a portfolio of projects in a fast moving change environment.The role requires strong leadership, communication and organisational skills and the ability to influence decisions at a senior level across Finance.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Manager, Finance Projects delivers improvements to the group's financial systems and financial reporting capability through effective management of projects. The successful candidate will lead multiple project teams drawn from across finance and the business.
Projects are initiated to meet group financial reporting requirements, or by the business users to upgrade financial systems to improve control and management information. Often these projects are initiated for quick turnaround and delivery.
The jobholder will gain agreement to the scope and objectives of projects and support project steering groups. They will also set the communications agenda for projects and monitor the delivery of scheduled outputs. Key stakeholders will be engaged through direct contact and the provision of high quality, relevant and timely executive MI.

Qualified Accountant
A persuasive and dynamic leader, self-motivated and a strategic thinker, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a track record of successful project delivery.
They will possess excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills with a talent for turning complex information into brief, relevant and engaging reports and presentations.
They will be resilient, highly collaborative and able to react quickly to changing circumstances. The ability to quickly build and motivate a team using a wide range of communications skills will be essential to the role.
