Supply Chain Bids Manager

Due to continued growth within this privately owned general manufacturing / electrical business based in the Manchester / Bolton / Oldham area, our client has a requirement for aSupply Chain BidsManager to join the purchasing team. You will be actively involved in Low Cost Country Sourcing, the proposal of Tenders and Project Procurement. This role will involve working on a number of bids simultaneously, ranging in size and complexity from simple quotations to major multi-volume proposals. You will be working with all internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions, and managing costs throughout the Supply Chain process. You will be managing all contract negotiations relating to any of the bids and working to get the most cost effective pricing set-up.
Who we're looking for
AsSupply Chain BidsManager, the right candidate will be of Degree Calibre (or equivalent) and CIPS Qualified (or studying towards). You will have a proven track record of operating in a fast moving manufacturing environment, be comfortable managing high value, complex contracts and subcontracts. You will have developed and implemented best practice procurement throughout your career.
