The main purpose of this role is to support the Head of Legal & Business Affairs by dealing with Commercial Business Affairs across the entire group of companies. As part of the Business Affairs Team the Legal Counsel is responsible for protecting Jamie Oliver's business interests in relation to his shareholdings in all of the existing and potential companies within the Group, for protecting Jamie Oliver's business interests in relation to his agreements with various commercial partners, including his representatives (e.g. Agents, PR consultants, etc) and for protecting and enforcing Jamie Oliver's intellectual property rights.
Who we're looking for
You will be a qualifiedMedia Lawyer, with in house experience. You will have a proven track record of dealing withmedia issues particularly with regards production. Somefranchising experience and ideally some commercial experience would be an advantage. You will have demonstrated experience of working in fast-paced and diverse media and commercial environments. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive, able to work under pressure and will be used to working within tight deadlines.
