Due to a recent internal promotion a new role has arisen for a part or fully qualified Financial Accountant to join the team and play a key role in the monthly reporting cycle. You will assist in the preparation and review of Financial information relating to the Strategic, Operational and Policy making aspects of Hale Products Europe Ltd, and the Hale Group.

Your key responsibilities will include;

• Preparation and consolidation of all Monthly Financial Reporting requirements for HALE UK to the US parent company
• Preparing and supporting the development and management of budgets for all departments in the business.
• As a Senior Finance Team member, contributing to the development and implementation of the overall Strategic and Business Plan for Hale Products Europe Ltd.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of short and long-term objectives for the business.
• Leading the team to improve, automate, and streamline current accounting and reporting procedures to maximize the contribution to the overall Corporate strategic and business goals.
• Assisting in the preparation of Financial Reports to the Management group & Town Hall Meetings
• Preparing the Annual Payroll and Expense Budgets for review by the Financial Controller / Senior Management.
• Assisting in the preparation of Annual Statutory Accounts
• Preparing stock take valuations ensuring all areas of stock holding are accounted for.
• Preparing the capital budget and submitting Capital Appropriation Requests to the parent company
• Tracking the status of capital project timelines and expenses and preparing and reviewing reports to the parent company

To be considered for this role you must be;

• Qualified / Finalist Chartered or Certified Accountant (ACCA, ACA)
• Fully conversant with UK statutory reporting requirements
• Able to demonstrate experience of working to tight reporting deadlines
• Able to demonstrate enthusiasm & passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Able to collaborate with others to achieve agreed objectives.
• Able to demonstrate genuine desire to develop yourself and others
• Able to adopt a determined 'can do' approach to achieving goals and be persistent in seeing things through.
• A self-motivator with strong initiative
• Advanced Excel, Outlook and Word
