This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team of Pernod Ricard UK, one of the world's leading wines & spirits organisations with brands such as Malibu, Jacob's Creek, Martell, Havana Club, Jameson and G.H.Mumm.
As the Senior Finance Analyst-Wines, you will have brand responsibility for some of their key Wines and Champagne Brands (e.g. Jacob's Creek and G.H.Mumm).
The purpose of the role is to:
• Act as an interface between the Financial Planning and Analysis team and other departments within the business, with a key focus on developing strong working relationships with Brand and Sales Managers.
• Enhance the quality of the Financial Analysis that is currently being provided and ensure that performance is being accurately measured in order to ensure that business decisions are being made with the correct level of analysis to support them
• Identify and communicate issues relating to financial performance on brands.
• Drive continuous improvement in the development of new processes and business models.
• Take a lead role in various components of the Annual budgeting, Quarterly forecasting, and Three Year Strategic planning processes.
Who we're looking for
This role requires a Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, CIMA or ACCA), ideally from an FMCG or Retail background. A high degree of financial and non-financial analytical ability will be complemented by excellent interpersonal skills and a real drive for results. This role is business facing and therefore good commercial acumen and communication skills are essential to the role.
